Living Waters Assembly of God Church

The Living Waters Assembly of God Church was founded in July of 1989 with Pastor Truman and Joanne Stricklen along with only 10 other people and has grown to an average of 60-80 people today. We feel that our Church is "One of a Kind" because of its style of worship. The Church's music consists of several stringed instruments, hand clapping, and singing. But our singing is the "old fashioned" style of hymns and choruses. We also have many people who enjoy sharing "special" solos or duets almost every Sunday. The preaching that Pastor Stricklen brings to the pulpit is an anointed, God sent, heaven high, hell hot, bible-based message, which usually ends with an old fashioned altar call. The people of the Church are a kind, loving, easy to know group of people that bring love and warmth to every visitor. We would love to have you come experience and share in all that our Church has to offer! |

Pastor Stricklen was born in northern Mississippi which happens to be right in the center of the bible belt. And so he brings with him that old fashioned, spirit filled, bible preaching. He was called to preach in March of 1980. He believes that the King James version of the bible is the anointed version, and he likes to stand on that old saying, "Jesus said it, I believe it, and that settles it", which includes "born again salvation", "devine healing", "Holy Spirit baptism", and "the power of God". Joanne was born and raised in this area of northern Wisconsin and is and has been just what the bible says, a help-mate for her husband, using her talents and abilities to fill the position in which the Lord has called her. The Stricklens began the work at Living Waters Assembly of God Church in July of 1989, and they still feel the calling now as much as they did then. |
